Have a good look at the 2014 X5 xDrive50i in M Sport form. The xDrive50i is powered by a 4.4L V8 (N63Tu), putting down 445 hp between 5500-6000 RPM / 480 lb-ft torque @ 2000-4500 RPM. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.9 sec (0.4 sec faster than predecessor) and is expected to get better MPG than the outgoing model.

The newly available rear-wheel drive 2014 X5 sDrive35i will start at $53,725 and the 2014 BMW X5 xDrive35i is priced at $56,025. The 2014 BMW X5 xDrive35d price is $57,525 and the 2014 BMW X5 xDrive50i will start at $69,125. All prices include $925 destination and handling.

Production on the all new 2014 X5 begins next month (except the xDrive35d which begins in December 2013). All X5s continue to be produced exclusively at BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant.

The 2014 X5 M Sport Package Includes:
  • M-aerodynamic body kit
  • Shadowline trim
  • high-gloss roof rails
  • 19-inch M-Double Spoke light alloy wheels (20-inch M-Double Spoke wheels optional upgrade)
  • Interior includes an 8-speed sport automatic transmission with shift-paddles, M-sport steering wheel, anthracite headliner, M foot rest and door sills, Aluminum Hexagonal trim and sport seats. Multi-contour seats can be specified as an alternative. An M Adaptive Suspension may also be specified as an upgrade.

They have made the rear door much vertical, probably to maximaze the trunk volume.

But in the same time the side losses in hologeneity, because the rear door don't follow the side trunk window...

Why don't they make the front amber reflector a little bigger...maybe have it wrap around the whole wheel arch

Looks like a pretty decent evolution from the e70. Nothing i love (besides the front seats) but nothing i dont like. Much better looking than almost all the suv's out there, and very happy about the rwd option, its a bmw remember?

I hope they finally put decent rear seats tho, the previous ones weren't worthy of a vehicle of this pricepoint.
