'06 325 vs. 330: Horses
Before I purchased my '06 325, I considered the 330. During the comparison I read articles stating the major differences in horsepower of the two comes from software and a three stage intake in the 330 opposed to one stage in the 325. I'm pretty sure other threads just like this were already addressed. Is that true? and if so, how difficult would it be to alter the software of the 325 to the 330's? Is there a chip availible? I love the high end power of my 325 but would like a little more torque in the low end. Thanks.

the short answer is no
there is no chip to make your 325 a 330 some jackass in the engine forum has a chip he alleges does some nice stuff, I think he's full of crap, but look in that forum to find the closest to some info on a chip I've seen |

I think you should of bought the 330i, it comes with more standard features than the 325i does, why not? Its only a 5 grand difference in price and you get the higher output engine you deserve.
