///M Coupe rotors on a 2004 2.5i

Hey guys, does anyone know if i would be able to buy the rotors from a new ///M coupe and put them on my 2004 2.5i// i upgraded to the M6 rims and my discs jsut look so small.. any advice??

you need M caliper as well as carrier...more than likely because thats what its needed for a 3.0 brake swap.

but i heard Z4M's are totally different so who knows what will be required

Just get yourself a Brembo or StopTech BBK and it'll be much more simple than tryng to get M parts to fit.

but as far as i know brembo only makes brakes for the front of the z4, they dont do the rear ones(except for the ms which are very different, i think)

To use the MZ4 rear brakes you will need the ENTIRE SUBFRAME. That means the subframe structure, the diff, the control arms, the king pin, and the output shaft. It's about $5,000 total in parts and labor.

Not entire sure if it's an upgrade worth the cost, when it's going to make your car rear heavy, accelerate like it's got a 4 cylinder engine with only 3 firing and not at the same time, make your car cruise at 4,000 RPM at 65 mph in 5th gear, and frankly, handle like SH*T because you don't have the equal springs and shocks up front.
