Interior/Exterior Xenon Lights

Did anyone purchase this yet?

http://www.bimmian.com/product.htm?v...item=IXB&ref=1

I want to change my interior lights and license plate light to a white look..like Lexus cars. I was leaning towards some LED wedge lights but I came upon this 10 piece kit from Bimmian. Did anyone have any experience with this?

looks real good.

the LED's do not like to work in the license plate very well...it goes in diagonally not straight in so it doesn't really "show" much

i had a set in 323ci few years ago i liked how they produced more light than the stock bulbs but they looked a lil cheap when u saw them from the exterior after unlocking the car

after trying them i prefer the oem warm glow

you mean the license plate leds that come from the bimmian kit doesn't show much right? What your saying probably means that I need an LED that beams light from the side for the license plate?

I've been on the fence for getting these as well. Just haven't felt like grabbing them to do that yet

I have the blue glass halogen bulb kit in my car and I love the light it gives out. The blue tinted glass produces less lumens then clear halogen bulbs, however it is definitely "whiter" just softer then the clear bulbs.

I've also had LEDs in my E46 as well and they are a lot brighter then halogens, however you have to pick the right LED orientation for the application. Like for the map lights you want a centralized beam and for the license plate you'd want a bulb that pushes light towards the sides of the bulb rather then the front.

I got these about a month ago and I like the change in the glow. Went from not using the yellowish interior lights at all to having them come on when opening doors. Looks great on a clean interior! When I ordered them, I ended up having to pick up an 11th bulb (M Coupe here) but I forget where I needed it - they sent it to me without a question.

$40 for 10 LEDs is ridiculous. I have seen a E46 w/ them and it looked good at night, but only because the interior was black and there was light tint.

Thats only 4 dollars an led.. about average price. The kit comes with all of the bulbs that fits the z4.. so i guess its an decent deal especially if your too lazy to hunt down all the bulbs down 1 by 1 at some other webstore.

Garage List
I Prefer the OEM glow on the inside. I do think all of the exterior lights should match the headlights though....
