Autosport Transmission Coding
Is this possible? I am picking up my new F30 tomorrow and it has every option I wanted minus the Autosport transmission with Paddleshifters. I would have gladly paid the $500 for this option, but I also did not want to build a car from the factory.
I have read the transmission is the same, both are the ZF Automatic, but the Autosport is programmed differently allowing for faster shifting. Has anyone figured out if and how this can be coded onto the regular automatic? I don't care so much about the shift paddles, just the faster shifting.
