Aftermarket brake pads for base 328i

Hi,

I am looking for a better brake pads for my baseline F30 328i as the stock brake gets overheat so easily under a bit of harsh braking.

I found websites that list EBC redsfuff and yellowstuff as available for this model. However, after I actually contacted them, I learned that the manufacturer is not gonna have them available for at least 60days.

I read several months old posts on this forum and it seems like there wasn't any pads available yet for F30 328i. I wonder if there's any good news for our 328i. I read some gentlemen suggesting custom carbotech brake pads, but it seems a little pricy for me. Thanks.

Thanks.

Why not try the M Sport pads, 34106859181?

There is nothing yet. I was the guy suggesting contacting CarboTech and having them bond the friction material onto some stock pads. After making my set of track pads, they have not made any more.

Hey Joel, is M-sport pads compatible with non-sport brakes? Can you give me the part number for rear pads too? I am looking for aggressive street pads or entry level(?) track pads. I wonder how much performance M-sport brake pads have. Thanks for the info!

Yes, mocohead, it was your post I read. Please let us know if you find anything in the future. I will update when I find anything too!

RealOEM is your friend...

Rear pads are 34216850569 and the M Sport pads are compatible, just a different material for European applications.

I would not call the pads aggressive, but they may be better than what you have, especially for the street.
