non zsp

Seriously, this is a first....I'm behind this pre LCI E90, I'm thinking it's gotta be a 314e it's moving so slowly....then I noticed the exhaust is that of a 335...I'm stuck behind this car for 2 miles, driving 10-20 mph under the limit.

Moral: Never trust a 335i non-ZSP, it doesn't make any sense

Hey now. Let's not stereotype.

I've seen zsp coupes doing the same thing in my area. Usually a trophy wife driving while applying lipstick or blabbing on a cell phone.

Haha, my girlfriend's car is a non-zsp 335i. She hates the sport seats in mine so got hers without them.

I'm just poking fun but it really was a first, I think it was an elderly woman driving the 335i.....twin turbo and a true dual exhaust system, and she was going about 20 in a 35, I almost passed her on the double yellow and lucky I didn't.....

Yeah I don't think I've seen another one around without ZSP but 335's are uncommon here anyway so our one dealership tends to only sell loaded ones.

Maybe its where OP lives where he cant believe he came across a slow 335 but around me you see all kinds of "nice" cars driving slow or left lane hogging its w/e.

don't see the point of this thread

I also don't really understand the thread.

I see AMGs and Ferraris doing about the speed limit (or under) every day... I almost feel bad passing someone who has a car with much more potential than my own, but if I didn't, I would never get anywhere...

dude honestly for the past two months every single person I have been behind has been going 5-10 under. I don't understand wtf is going on. It's a god damn epidemic. NOT EXCLUSIVE TO NON ZSPs

for real though, I don't know what is happening lately but this is a true story. country roads, suburban roads, city streets, 55, 45, 35mph, doesn't matter. 7/10 people I get behind lately are going under the speed limit.

after much arduous further scrutiny, i have ascertained that "ZSP" is in fact the sport package. So consider me ZSP-havin. At least this is the information that has come across my desk.

I didn't get ZSP. I delimited the speed myself, am adding paddle shifters, and am content with the regular seats.

+1. I see nothing but Lambos, Maseratis and Astons everyday during my way back home and they always follow the speed limit.

M3's not so much but who could blame them? I wanna the exhaust note too!

xDrive E9x vehicles do not get the sport suspension. I wasn't sure at first, but everything I've read seems to indicate they don't anyway. If you find info otherwise, let me know, because I'd love to know for sure 100%, haha.

Ah, I had not considered xDrive vehicles. I don't know if they got it or not.

Correct. X-drive sits higher by default due to the practicality of the feature, therefore, does not have sport suspension.

Obviously some people lower them, but I think that's ridiculous, considering the fact you (usually) buy X-drive for a reason.
