Hey my car is running great!

I got this idea for the post from another thread, seems like people are always complaining about their car and others reading the forums are wondering if they should pass the buck on the car to someone else before it dies a horrible death?

I'd like to get a thread going for those people who have more then 50k miles and also for those over 100k miles on their cars to speak up with the positive experience of the car to date. Meaning if you feel fortunate that your car has lasted you this long without any major issues... please speak up with your: Model/Year/Current Mileage

I like the concept, but people are going to say "yeah my car's been running great for xxxxx number of miles, i've had zero problem with it, it's effin' great" and jinx themselves...

Next thing you know, they'll get in their car tonight or tomorrow morning, the car will not crank, blow a turbo, or a fuel pump or something of that nature...

Maybe I'm just superstitious and paranoid...

2007 328xi, changed lower control arm bushings, rotors, ceramic pads, front and back difs oil, coolant flush, coils and sparks, tires and rims.... 130k car running like new!! Mpg 24 to 21 depending on driving.. Need to change oil level sensor next, i suspect not working properly, it always reads good no matter how much oil i put in there after an oil change but not a big deal as i do frequent oil changes

Bought it used at 100k

2007 e92 335i mt

FBO minus dp's/meth. Basic maintenance such as battery, speed sensor and serpentine belt. Turbos pull strong and just like new. At 105k now and coming soon RB Turbos if all goes well money wise.

Also get 28.5mpg on the highway with map 5!

All good here so far.

Will be FBO when my FMIC gets here (shipped today )

80K miles, 10K miles tuned on JB4, DPs installed recently. Just started running E85 and got some non-rft PSS tires.

Had a few things replaced under warranty (new rear diff to fix noise, new oil filter housing, new valve cover gasket, transmission serviced, new brakes all around).

Very happy with it so far, one of the best cars I've owned reliability wise, definitely beats the C32 AMG i had before it!

2009 e92 335i, 29,5xx miles, bought used at 24,5xx. Let me jinx myself before my full warranty expires... been running flawlessly except for some wastegate rattle that I had fixed. If all continues to go well I look forward to getting some BMS DP's in about a month.

2011 E92 335i, leased new
JB4 installed at 8k miles
currently around 34k miles
runs STRONG with 40% E85 on Map 5 (daily), and Map 1 when using 91.

-changed tires to non-rft's at 18k (still have 50-60% on my RFT's sitting in my garage)
-replaced leaking coolant overflow tank under warranty

This car runs so well, I'm thinking of refinancing my lease into a purchase in a few months.

Next up, BMW Performance exhaust, coilovers and M3 lower control arms

Bought my '06 330xi new and it now has 134,000 on the odometer. It's hands-down the best car I've ever owned and waaaaaaay better than the '98 528i I had before it.

I've had no major issues with the car and, save for a wacky driver side mirror, everything works properly, even the i-Drive has been fine. I nearly dropped the hammer on an '08 335xi with only 18k on the odometer, but so many of you suggested I hang onto my 330xi that I decided to do just that.

I've got a 2009 328i/sport sedan, just hit 61K. Love it. Front runflats were nasty and sounding choppy, got them replaced with non-runflats, and about to do the same to the rear. Love this car. Love the suspension setup from factory. No issues whatsoever so far. I hope to keep it that way for a while. I feather the gas pedal, averaging 27.3mpg to and from work, non-highway just small country road. I've got lots of love for this car. Now if it would only stop raining every other day I could get a good clay and wax in.

Garage List
2006 BMW 330i  [0.00]
2006 330i with ZSP, 6MT, Nav, Logic7
Currently has 133,000 miles. I bought it used with 38,000 miles.
Excellent car....I love driving it every day. My 4th BMW and the best and most reliable yet.
Past cars: '99 323i(great car), '99 528i(some costly issues), '01 X5 3.0i(great SAv)
I'm dying to get into a N54 or N55, hopefully soon. I'd still like to keep my 330i though, its such a great car.
