Question about vehicle production.
So when BMW is making our f30s over the years are they constantly making changes? Even in the middle of a model year? For example, they recieve alot of complaints about failed window regulators, so they quickly redesign a part and implement it into production.
Or.... Do they wait for until July for the model year switch.. Or even wait for the mid life refresh? Thanks

Changes are constant for the reason you stated. If you look through older posts you will see new part numbers mentioned for different items that were rolled into production. For example, the electronic steering rack was changed mid-run on the F30.
Don't get me started on E46 window regulators. |
