M Performance Rocker Panel Film

Does anyone have the instructions for installation of M Performance Rocker Panel Film. Apparently it should come when ordered but was not supplied from getbmwparts.com

it works like any other vinyl...
two methods:
1) wet install: use water spray onto the rocker panel and the back of the vinyl , align everything and squeeze out the water with a squeegee and wait for dry (blow dry to speed things up)
2) dry install: start from one side of the panel, attach and use a heat gun to slowly go over and slight stretch the vinyl until you're done and no bubbles

There is a manual, ask your dealer. The paper backer is used to align the film, so don't cut it. Wet is the easiest, use special application liquid instead of water / soap.

Use a heat gun to dry it faster, the film will go into the curves of your skirt, so a heat gun is handy. Don't forget to use a rubber squeegee to push excess liquid out.

found this thread to be helpful. http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=845082

had my dealer install it. they used a third-party vendor that ended up putting one side lower than the other--made them redo it. they too did not have instructions. second time around, they used the top of the decal to measure against vs the bottom…they claimed that the logo was printed in different locations (one higher, one lower) which caused the misalignment.
