So now two years later the bmw symbol has completely rubbed off from the key fob. i asked two dealers and email bmw to get the fob replaced. they are telling me they dont replace keys for cosmetic reason. does any one know where i can get a sticker or something.

try goign to another dealer. around here, they replace it for free

ok but im running out of dealers, there are not that many in the city. I already went to bmw of manhattan and rallye bmw... I guess ill check around. thanks

My dealer replaced the fob for me when the sticker came off. Only hassle, if you have CA make sure they reprogram the new key with CA.

The same thing happend with the gloves. The symbol constantly falls off.

mine came off a long time ago. Why do you care so much? I use my key to open beer bottles. And didnt you get two keys from the dealer? Just use the second one.

why do i care? cause i paid good money for the car. My second key is being used by my wife.

Tell them you fob is broken. It no longer displays the BMW symbol. Its under warranty. Many have been able to get their fob replaced when this happens. Just need to raise enough of a stink.
