How long do you have to wait before a service appointment.

So my service required light warning comes on and I check the car computer and it says I need rear brakes (1000 miles). The first available appointment at the dealer is June 27. That is practically 3 weeks away. What is up with that? Anyone else experience that from their local dealer?

Yea it's about right, I booked an appt today and the earliest date was the 25th. Dealers are busy because of the battery recall for all e9x's.

I think they will be for a long while. Because a lot of people will obviously put it off as long as possible.

I saw someone do that before and they would not see him. I set the appointment. Since they have it, I am thinking about getting Dinan Performance Software Stage 2

My dealership has a 3-4 week wait for service as well. Takes 4 weeks to get in for a 15 minute oil change?

Just pull into the service center, whip the keys at the SA, tell him to fix it, and walk out!
