Am I the first N26 owner with failed 2 injectors within 3 days ?

As I was driving my car started to run rough, went to dealership, got injector replaced. 2 days later same problem. Car wouldn not even go to higher rpms... So BMW replaced all of my injectors this time. They say upgraded units. I am wondering if there are people with same issue.

I've had my n26 for several months and haven't experienced this issue. However, I'm sorry to hear that you have been.

Have you experienced this problem since the dealership replaced the injectors with 'upgraded' units?

Did the dealer give you and idea on the reason for multiple failures? Did you have bad gas? or were the injectors defective for some other reason. I would think after 2 failures that the dealer would at least test the fuel for possible issues in order to resolve the problem.

Same thing happened to me.

#2 injector and spark plug replaced, took 5 days to get the parts.

car stalled out once at stop light

rough idle during low speed - bumper to bumper traffic.

wont idle if car left in park, rpm kept dropping and picking itself backup.

BTW the worst part, I am constantly thinking about it, if it's me picking on it, or rough idle is coming back... not fun at all

I only did few hundred miles since they replaced them, we ll see, I really dont care since its in warranty and they give me bmw loaner if somethings wrong; however, it would be inconvenient if that happens and im several hundred miles away from home

I know it sucks, but BMW will take care of it.
This happens from time to time with all brands.

My E46 '03 325i sport had to have all the injectors replaced when 2 of 6 failed. BMW replaced them with different brand injectors. I think the OE was "Bradi" and the new ones were "Bosch". They had a run of bad injectors.
No problem after the full replacement.

If BMW has completely new injectors, then if they only replaced 1 or 2 and they fail again, then insist on a whole new set, that should fix it for good.
On my E46 never problem again after the replacement.

I have only replaced injectors on one n20/26 so far.

The N63s get the most injectors currently. N54 injectors are becoming rare to do now.

BMW has released updated injectors for the N63, but they are completely different than n20s. I wouldnt be surprised if the injectors have been changed alreay

Injectors

Just happened to me... Brand new 2013 Msport, Car stalled and i limped home in disabled mode. next morning it fired up no warning lights. They replaced all 4 injectors with no explenation why
