Whats my Build Date??

Im trying to see if i can order a Quaife LSD but i read that cars with build date March 07 and after have welded diffs and therefore makes the Quaife LSD basically impossible to add...

Where can i find on my car the Build Date so i can checkk

it's on the body panel (hidden once the door closes), not on the door...

no flash please, it should be there on the "flash" part.

The date should read mm/yy (01/07 for mine).

What do you mean by "welded diffs"? You mean the diff cover is welded on? If BMW did that after March 07 to avoid allowing for aftermarket LSDs to be installed that is just gay.

If you go to realoem.com and plug in the last seven digits of your VIN, it will tell you the build date - in your case 8/2006.

Note - your car needs to be old enough to be listed there - the current cut off date is 11/06.
