cic upgrade for 330i
Excuse my ignorance as im sure this has been covered.
What do I have to do to get a cic sat nav system retrofitted to my 2005 330i. I see ones on ebay but how do you make them work?? I have read alot about coding etc. I would need Australian maps loaded. Is this easy? My bmw indie has access to the bmw server, so could he code it for me. Lastly, is there any other cables etc to get as well as the unit (screen,controller,unit). Any advise is gold for me Cheers gents Daniel |

You need the CIC, CID(screen), controller, new dashboard, new center console trim for the controller, CIC-CID cable, CIC-USB cable, USB port, some connectors for the CID and controller, some wire to run power/ground and CAN hi/lo to CID and controller, some screws, and lots of coding that your indie can't do.
