Hi, i'm interested in this item.

How plug and play is it for a professional head unit with built-in DAB? Is it just swap the antenna over and put the cable in the DAB connector rather than the aerial connector?

Thanks

Ok as far as I know, it is straight swap. Black fakra connects to current radio wire, which is already present in your car and thats used when you use normal radio.

You will need new cable (mustard colour) to run from your head unit to this antenna.

So you will be adding,
1- Antenna
2- Cable

And its straight swap on the models which I have mentioned (E90/ E92 / E82).

E91 is the exception!

Collection from Essex or posted on the buyers expenses.

Thanks.

Do you know why it's different for E91? I know installation is a pain due to removing the spoiler but didn't know the antenna was different.
