Misfire fixed
I've seen many threads on here regarding misfires right after plugs are replaced. Well, I just replaced mine at 42,000 miles and went with the NGK 5992 (gapped to .022"). I had no misfires before but picked up a bad misfire on cold starts immediately after replacing the plugs - throwing misfire codes on multiple cylinders at every cold start-up, but not at any other time. I was certain it had to be plug related since the car ran perfectly before. Since my car is tune-only I then took the plugs out and re-gapped them to OEM (.027") - all misfires gone, and picked up about 3 mpg. Seems like a lot of these issues could be resolved with a simple gap adjustment. Just something to try before replacing parts that may not need replacement. Thanks

Good info. what mods are you running? I've heard the 5992's run well when you aren't running stock boost and gap them correctly.
