335i M Performance Exhaust on a 328i

Anyone tried installing the 335i M Performance Exhaust on a 328i?

Are the sizes of the two mid-pipes of the same diameter?

I wonder if the M Performance exhaust for 335i is specifically designed for 335i only? And if I install the 335i one on 328i, would the sound become "bad" or even impact the exhaust flow in a "negative" way?

Any feedback will be appreciated!

Someone one here made a Megan racing 335 exhaust work with very little modification, the MPerformance unit should be the same case. No adverse affects.

Main issue would be cutting the rear diffuser to fit the double side pipes of the 335 instead of the single dual pipe of the 328

The diffuser issue is non-performance-related. Know of any performance related issue or adverse effect as compared with installing a 328i M Perf exhaust on a 328?

I'll hopefully be adding a DP soon, I'm not a big fan of the sound when revving.

Don't worry the DP will def change that into what you're looking for.
I have Custom Hi-Flow DP but no Exhaust yet and it changed the sound but to get that deep throaty sound its def the way you did it (35 Exhaust).

I think the 28i exhaust will not sound as good as the 35i.
Btw, how many resonators does the F30's have?

mge92 has SuperSprint QuadTips on his X3 28i but our X3 has double resonator =\ so makes stuff even weirder and quiet lol. We're debating on doing resonator delete or muffler delete.

Hopefully it works out, I think there is only one resonator.
