Extended Warranty cost
Hey guys,
I just got a quote from Brian Jessel BMW for an additional 3yrs/100K warranty for $3550 plus taxes. They said it will take effect when my factory warranty expires. I have a 2010 X6 Activehybrid with 14000 miles. They said its a comprehensive warranty which covers almost everything. Is this a reasonable price or should I shop around? He did mention that its a 3rd party warranty very similar to the factory BMW offering and that all dealerships in BC use the same insurer. Thanks |

Which company and which package? A few people I've read went with CoverageOne.

I failed to ask which 3rd party insurer it was. There are 3 deductible options, $50, $100 and $200, he mentioned most people opt for the $200 ded. I did some shopping around and autowest quoted me almost double for the same coverage!!
Just got a call from another dealer, the insurance company is SAL and these are the plans: 5yr/100K $4300, 4yr/60K $3800, 3yr/40K $2800. All of these are with a $300 deductible and the warranty takes effect immediately. Last edited by titanle; 05-08-2013 at 05:40 PM.. |
