coding extended bluetooth
Hello Gents,
I am wondering if I can code extended bluetooth and add office on my 328 xdrive. It has the navigation pre-installed with code S6NHA. Do I need a combox or I am fine. I read that during the meeting in Toronto some members got it coded. I cannot find however htis information on the forums. If it can be done do you know anyone know in Montreal who is able to do it. thank you ! |

You do need a combox, which you'll have if you have navi.. it's in the trunk if you'll looking for it...Here's how you do it...
Under VCM, select read then save the FA (up top) then edit and on the FA folder, you will see something called salapa element. Once you're in there, you will see all the feature codes on your vehicle order; the one you want to change is 6NH which is your USB and Bluetooth feature - change this to 6NK and hit apply. Once you're done that, activate the FA and right click HU_CIC folder and select code. Once your idrive reboots, you will see the office menu and extended Bluetooth. After that, right click cmb_media and code. This will allow your iphone cable to sync with idrive in the armrest.

If you have navi pro 609 and bluetooth 6NH, you have a combox in the trunk floor to the left of fuse box. All you need to do is change 6NH in FA to 6NK and code HU_CIC and MEDIA module (not exact names) and you will have extended bluetooth(a2dp) and office, but not bmw live. Live requires other codings.
