Question low headlights???

this is for the e90 owners out there. has anyone noticed that the xenons on the e90 are low, or is it just mine? it kinda looks like my xenons are lower than normal, cuz when its dark i gotta turn on the highbeams sometimes. even the headlight level on my e46 looks higher than my e90. anyone?

i adjusted mine up a little bit. I think a lot of people have here too. It's really easy to do and you only need to raise it up a small bit.

Its because they are auto levelling. It doesnt help that when you drive faster they lower further. The stock height for mine were far too low. To this day I'm still disappointed at how limited the range is on the headlights. The e46 xenons, those I like... Also the color shift on the e90 xenons are disappointing as well. They are a lot whiter than the blueish purplish hue of the e46's...

Do you have a DIY for this adjustment? Thanks!

I've noticed my headlights were kinka low also. I want to adjust them up a bit, but I want to make sure that both lights are at the same level after the adjustment. Any idea how to make this possible.
Another question is, since the headlights are auto leveling, will they come back to the same low position even if I adjust them up a bit?

Yeah, mine were low as fuck compared to my e46.

I fixed that very easy, check the DIY section for the instructions. :rocks:

negative. They auto level to whatever height you set. If you raise them sky high, they will auto level to that setting. I know this because for a few months after i adjusted my lights, they were not at the same height. if they auto leveled as you say, there wouldn't be two distinct heights.

Adjust the lights with them on. The "cut off" for the xenons is very easy to see. If the two headlights aren't aligned, you'll be able to easily tell.
