Need some advice, I received the letter stating that the 2011 e90 had a recall ad I should bring it in to get the electrical issues resolved.

I recently installed a wireless back up camera, I had to tap into the reverse lights cable to power up the camera.

Question, should I remove the wireless camera before I take the car in. Could it void the warrenty?
