Wind Noise with Top Up on the Convertible
The new 3 er convertible is extremely beautiful. Are there any issues with wind noise? How does the cabin noise level with the top up compare with a coupe?

Only thing I've noticed is that in a hard rain storm, the roof sounds a lttle "tinnie." But here is AZ we don't get a lot of rain (other than Monsoon season)

No issues here. I love my vert! I have not noted wind noise. In fact I was listening intently today during a "spirited drive" and all I could was hear the wale of the engine. I was truly amazed at how silent the car is with the top up. I also seem to forget for a while that it is a convertible until the sun comes out and then ..."ahhhh, SO GLAD I have a convertible".

It is quieter than both my previous hartop A4 and S4. Top down it is remarkably aerodynamic compared to a previous Mustang convertible I had.

I agree when the top is up it damm quiet. My only issue is that when the top is up it seems like there is an unequal air pressure inside the cabin?? Kind of weird feeling. Does anyone have the same feeling?

No wind sound. Haven't rained yet so don't know how it is when raining but it's quiet except i finally hear a small rattle noise from the right rear side of my car. it is so annoying . sometimes that's all i could concentrate on when i'm driving. ugh

I get more noise from the road/tires than I do with the top up except at highway speeds. At highway speeds, I think the noise equals out between the engine, road, and wind.

I noticed this and I know the exact feeling. It is the same feeling when I open the sunroof and not the windows, like the pressure is fluttering and messing with my ears and the radio. Only it is much less noticeable with the vert. I got this only 2 times and only during warm up. I think the top must settle in after a few minutes because it definitely goes away after a mile or so.

I only get this between 55 and 60 mph in D mode. As soon as the car shifts gears or I go to higher revs as in DS mode it goes away.
