Took awhile, and I played with a 2011 370z, and a 2010 Mercedes E550 coupe in between. So I've been having fun, but after my AW 335, and knowing that I'm running out of time for the N54 I pulled the trigger and I've got a titanium over Coral red on the way. What can I say, I like classic colors.

Good to be back been missing the BMW. ETA is 60 days.

Thank you, of course now I settle back into the OCD waiting for delivery phase. Not my favorite part of ordering a BMW. But 60 days is far better than the 6 moths in 2007.

Congrats man, you're gonna love it. The wait is a beast. Worst part is when it's completed production and it's sitting in a parking lot in Germany or on a 2 week journey across the Atlantic.

We're (unfortunately) driving one of the last of the good 3's I think.

I think mine's in the same parking lot according to BMW - produced and waiting for a boat. 335is Lemans Blue/black.

Trying to set up Performance Center Delivery but the dates may not work out.

Nice! I'm thinking I should have done PC delivery as well. Would be a long drive home, but I'm not working, it's going to be early summer and would have been a good drive.... Ah, well there's next time.

I would have done blue, it looks sharp, but I had to have red leather, fell in love with it on the last 335 so yeah not ballsy enough for a superman.

It's a long drive back home for me too (although not quite like Seattle!) but I have family in Greenville so it makes a lot of sense. Still not sure it will happen. Once it's on the boat next week they will be able to tell me for sure. There should be plenty of time but good ol' conservative BMW wants 8 weeks in the schedule so that nobody shows up and "oops - no car". I told them I'd do the PC delivery "experience" and let the car show up at home, no answer on that one yet.

Beautiful color combination. I think the red leather will be fabulous. The wait is the hardest part. Could be worse. I did ED, saw and drove the car, and THEN had to wait two months for it to get stateside.

OH Damn... Teaser then the withdrawal. I don't know how I'd handle that.

I was thinking I should have done PC delivery because it would knock a couple of weeks off my delivery time. (Thinking it would anyway) East coast delivery VS West coast through the Panama canal. I'm not working so I'd have the time to bring it home and really enjoy the drive.

Seriously, just having it sit is driving me nuts. I've got family coming out in Mid-June and I actually "need" this car to be here as I am currently sharing the Wife's car. Not the end of the world as she carpools 5 days a week, but with family inbound, one car is going to be a PITA.

Just a thought, but maybe you could go to your dealer and ask for a loaner. After all you just bought a car from them. I know this is a stretch, but who knows.

Yeah, probably can get something worked out if it comes down to it. Sales Manager is a friend so would be pretty simple.

BUT, mostly I was just whinging. It's likely that the new hotness will arrive while they are here. However, we are going on a cruise, and it will really suck if my car is just sitting at the dealership waiting for me for 10 days... I'll bail and just swim home if need be.

I was just able to trace mine using the "tracking guide" at the top of this section. Currently it's on the boat just south of Ireland, due in Baltimore on the 29th. Pretty cool to be able to see the progress.

Still not sure if it's being delivered here or South Carolina PC. Time for some phone calls.

Yeah, got an update, it's out to sea, departed Bimmerheaven on the 24th after 8 days of sitting at the port.

It's on the Dionysos Leader ETA in California on the 21st, then a week or so after it will be ready here in Seattle.

Unfortunately I will be out of the country LEAVING the 26th not returning until the 5th. SO, it will hopefully make a fine welcome home present, and I can just cab it to the dealership. Timing wise might be just right actually.

Just confirmed today - South Carolina Performance Center Delivery on June 26. Accoring to the BMW tracking website it is undergoing "final touches" at the port of entry.

Awesome, congratulations.

Looks like I am going to picking mine up on the 5th or 6th of July. It will be here on the 30th or something like that, but I'm going to be gone till the 5th.
