BMW Option Code S1AEA

Looking at RealOem I found BMW Option Code S1AEA - Flex Fuel Preparation. That code shows as having different spark plugs and different gas caps. But I am not seeing any additional sensors, DME, control units, etc...that mention S1AEA. A google search did not reveal anything noteworthy.

I decoded my VIN and my car doesn't appear to have S1AEA. But my car runs great on 50/50 91 and E85.

Is it possible...are our cars already flex fuel capable? If so, why wouldn't BMW advertise that. If the car is not FFV, what else do we need to change besides spark plugs and gas cap?
