Question M-Sport Leather Steering Wheel Scratched... :(

any way to fix scratches on the m-sport leather steering wheel... I had a clip hanging on my jean pocket, when i got out it rubbed against the steering wheel. Whats the best way to fix it or smooth it out? if possible.

leather conditioner? no idea...is it damaged or just wear and tear that would eventually happen anyway?

best bet would be to go to these trim restorer guys, the ones that restore leather seats and stuff imo... would probably be better to buy a new wheel after a few years of ebay or something when the prices drop..

but personally, i wouldnt worry about it, its bound to happen anyway

That sucks man. I always worry about a fingernail or something scratching my wheel. To the point that generally I only hold it around the bottom where it is plastic. lol

I tried using olive oil. rubbing it on the scratched area and let it heal itself. I put olive oil on for a few mins earlier and it worked a bit. after that i used leather conditioner... looks better... now im letting the oil sit for about an hour according to what i read online. then im going to use leather conditioner again.

So far it working great!!!
