Corner Sub Box?

Is anyone on here still building the custom fiberglass corner boxes?

-searched and see several threads from 2010 and 11 but none recently. I'm thinking of adding a JL10w3 to the Logic 7 system in my e90 330i. Wondering if this is the most cost efficient way to do this. Logic 7 doesn't have enough bass for me...

I dont need earth shattering bass but I'd like something that bumps more, with tighter, deeper bass. I'm considering just buying a random sealed 10inch MDF box online from crutchfield and arranging it in the corner....any advice?

Is that my only option? Seems pretty expensive for my budget haha. $900 is steep for just adding 1 10" to my car haha.

and i mean is it really going to sound much different than a pre-fab nicely sealed enclosure within recommended specs for the sub?

Nope. But it'll fit nicely . Look into doing an IB install. I just finished one and, granted the sub is a madman, it's killer. With a well-suited sub, it's a lovely option.

Looks very nice. I did some subwoofer modeling for a box that size a while back and the absolute best -by far- driver I found is this one:

Sorry I'll fix the link later as I'm posting from a mobile device.

European E90s have a CD player box there. Are all the E90s in the states like that without CD player box (as shown in those photos)?

Box seems very nice.

I just got my magic box from wicked cas in the mail. I haven't installed other but it looks of good quality. Problem is they told me 2-3 week build time and it took them over 5 to get it to me. Ill keep you posted on the install next weekend.

Whoa, this box actually fits an IDMax10, both from the depth and the volume. That may just be the best driver you can put in there.

$895 was for a PnP harness, an amplifier, and an enclosure loaded with a subwoofer, with all wiring. The enclosure is available empty, just email us.

You'll need more posts before anyone can PM you, but I'd be interested to see what you've got in mind.

Personally looking for a corner 10" box for E90 sedan.

I am willing to work with anyone on here just to see what everyone's ideas are ? I am currently building an e93 m3 red leather sub box with carbon fiber for a member on m3forum.net I purchased a battery cover and have a donor car to make a few boxes but I wanted everyone's feedback on what subs and sizes you guys would like ?

I see good examples of corner box subs where UK people have CD player located at...I also saw a pic of the subs facing forward just behind the rear seats without enclosures...can this setup(i.e.-without enclosure) sound as good as the corner boxed version???.

I ask because I leave my golf clubs in trunk all the time I can't lose the side to side space at all but I could give up depth(i.e.-version with subs just back of the rear seats).

Thoughts?
