Does anyone know if the 2008 335i sedan will have different style tailights, like seen in this photo?

Those are blacklines. Euro taillights. you can buy them off ebay. Search for BLACKLINES

I think the shape will stay the same, but the color arangements will change with the facelift. Maybee something more like the X5 with a thiner reverse light strip thats in the middle instead of on top

It says OEM. Does BMW make these, or does someone take a pair of OEM ones and blacken them?

Yes, BMW makes the Blackline tailights. You can pick them up at your dealership as well.

FWIW, I ordered mine from Morristown last week on eBay, got them about 4 days later. Installing today!

Euro taillights are the same as ours, minus the fact that theirs have amber turn signals whereas ours are red.

You can also get them from Tischer BMW for about 5 dollars cheaper than Morristown, if that amounts to something.
