what are the best ones out there? i want as close to the same color as the newer models have oem. like a 12000k colour. i have an 08 323i with oem bi zenon swap. please include a link if possible, and if you have some pics of your ride, day and night with just the angels on, i would really appreciate it.

For the pre-lci set, look for MTECv3/v4 or LUX angel eyes.

12000k?!? That is way too blue/purple. The new OEM's are more like 6-7k in colour. I have Mtec V3's and they look very close to the new AE's. There is a big colour difference between the Mtec V3's and V4's so be aware. I created this thread with pics with the difference:

nope, you're right they don't. i swapped in OEM headlights from a 328i. i bought this car dirty cheap, $14k with 45000 kms (no accidents). i wasn't sure if i wanted a BMW, and the chance was there to own one and see if i like it. now that i have for a year, i already have bigger plans for my next one. the 323i makes a great commuter (guelph to hamilton every day) and gets incredible gas mileage. so far it got the hid swap, style 162's, matte grills, a BMS PBX, exhaust, and k&n drop in (for now). it looks the sh!t at least. that and a 2 din nav kenwood (janus designs install kit), and some junk in the trunk (JL HD1200 with 3x hertz 12's, sealed box). but i will be setting my sights a little higher on the next one, as far as performance and horsepower goes.
anyhow, thanks all for the opinions and the pics. i'm a complete rookie with these foreign cars, so i really do appreciate the help. jeff Last edited by O YAH EH; 04-05-2013 at 04:03 PM.. |
