Red face could this be a major problem?

I serviced my E92 320d today and have done the following:

Oil change
Charcoal Filter
Air Filter
Front Brake Pads
Rear Brake Pads
Rear disks off and cleaned up the rear shoes.

i then went to reset the service menu and this is where it went pear shaped!!
  • The service interval now reads 37000 miles and service not due until 2017.
    Driving Stability Light On.
    DBC Failure Light On
    Brake Pads Replace

what have I done?

can someone please help as i am in states of panic

Thanks

Sounds like you disconnected one of the DSC sensors while you were playing in the brake area. Just have the wheels off and inspect everything.

Also, if the brake light was on when you changed the pads, you need new sensors, they are a one use item, once they have contacted they can't be reused.

You need new wear sensors. Start there.
