i love how this forum is now filled with 335i owners which is fine. but i just wanna say that i love my 328i its got enough power for me, big enough, and dang i love everything about it mods will be coming, but i think this car is just as good as the 335i for people who dont need all that hp and torque and would prefer a very nice german sedan/couple/conv/wagon at a decent price!
I LOVE MY 328i!!! |

Nice to see some 328i love here. All of the E9x get a thumbs up from me.

328i FTW. BMW pwns the NA straight six market, and delivers righteous joy in the 328.
The 335i is great for those who want to gamble on longevity or drop the biatch after the lease term, but for guaranteed smiles for miles the 328i is the greatest embodiment of bimmerhood created. Enjoy, and keep it or come back for different flavors if such & such allows over time. This isn't the 1993 325i six vs. 318i four-banger comparison of years past. What you have is the goods. |

I bought a bimmer for the quality ride. All I need from the engine is enough get-up-and-go to pass other cars when they're in my way, and the 328 has more than enough of that. I'm sure I'd LOVE the reportedly intoxicating power of a twin turbo, but in the end, the 335 would be wasted on me. I don't think I'll have a 335 until the day arrives when I have two bimmers ... one for daily driving, one for fun. At that point, the daily driver will probably be an X3 or X5.

Nothing wrong with a 328! I came to learn with my M3 that the occasions to use the extra power were somewhat rare.

The 335i is also great for those who want a huge smile on their face every time they hit the gas.

I gotta be honest..if there wasnt a 335, I would not be in a BMW right now.

I waited 8 months without a car, just for the 335... I heard it was coming out back in feb of 2006 when i almost bought a 330, and waited from then til aug when I was able to order it, then didnt get it til late oct... for some people its not a big deal, but the idea of a twin turbo bmw just made everything else not quite enough... IMHO
