The Mustang must GO!
Hey everyone! Here's my story. I have an '05 Mustang gt and an '06 Fusion as my beater car. I have owned Acuras, Hondas and even a couple of V dubs but never a BMW. My buddy just purchased a low mileage 2002 M3 and I friggin' fell in love at first DRIVE! Well, I ordered a 335i coupe on August 1st and am waiting everyday with crazy anticipation. I know they are very different cars, but I will really miss my Stang as I will use it and the Fusion as trade-ins. I guess what I am trying to say is, I just want anyone on here to keep encouraging me that I am going to really love this car. Thanks for the great forum!

Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed.
Good call, going with the 335i. It's night and day between the 2 cars.

dood, don't even worry about it. This car is leagues above those others that you've owned...I loved my MkIV VW GTI that I modded, but once I took delivery of my E92 335i, did not even think about the GTI. 335i is where it's at.

For a stunner of a car invest in the following:
1, aerolip 2, high performance tires 3, coilovers or at least the eibach / Koni setup 4, Procede V2 It will cost a little (at least 3K) but you will have one of the finest all round cars on the road. |

A co-worker ask me why I didn't puchase a Mustang better than the 335i Coupe..he said "You have the same horse power, it's cheaper and nicer..." Well I didn't to argue to much with him..so I juste said " Compaaring a BMW to a mustang it's like comparing Tofu to Beef...you may have the same number of protein..but it's not exactly the same taste..." End of conversation....I thing that explain all...there's nothing to add! :rocks:

I just received my 335 this week, and i love it so darn much.
Like everyone else here, i am finding reasons to go out driving. After my first 1/2 fill up, i averaged 26 MPG. The engine has less than 300 miles on it!!! No worries, you will love it like your own child. |

Funny I am looking to trade in my 2004 A4. The short list of choices is: 1. 335 coupe -love the car hate the price 2. G37- love the price, but seems a little lacking in power... 3. 2003-2004 Cobra- love the raw power its only a chip pulley and exhaust away from 470 rwhp! I've owned a 1990 GT and a highly modified 1997 Cobra. However I am thinking I need more refinement in my liffe..... |

Well the Mustang is definatly a nice car, its alot of fun to drive, and only those who owned it know what its like driving one. I had a 1995 cobra 351w twin turbo close to 700rwhp. It was my full out race car for a couple of years and i had numerous of BMW's, and I never got the same satisfaction as i did with my mustang.
Now on the other end, as a daily driver and even a track car one in a while, the 335i will bring alot of smiles to your face, and its alot better then your 05 mustang. |
