Looking to visit Canada, possibly BC
The g/f wants to go to BC I really dont care but it would be cheaper to go to Montreal or Ottawa.
What is BC like and where abouts should we stay if we want to be close to all the things that one would go do or so. Good bars, shopping, crap like that. I've been all over the western US states as I lived in Cali so if you can describe the city as being like a city I've maybe been too that'd help

if youre looking to go to BC, id hit vancouver straight up...your close to Whistler there too, so you could really drive out and see some beautiful stuff...
BC is also pretty mild even in the winter months. As for Ottawa and Montreal, they are two of my fav destinations in Canada. Hit them in the summer for great night life and outdoor venues... the market in ottawa is the place to be, and catherine street is the place to be in Montreal... unless you like old historic stuff, then the old port of montreal is where to go. |

The cost would be pretty much the same. I preferred the restaurant and bar scene of Vancouver and Montreal vs. Ottawa. Shopping might be better in Montreal.
Enjoy!
