Brake service needed

Hey guys! It's been awhile since I've signed it but once again I need you guy's advice.

Where is a good place to get brake services done? I would prefer somewhere that opens on saturdays as it's hard for me to take time off from work this or next week

any advices? it seems like all places you guys like only open Monday - Friday.

Would it be a bad idea to take it to a local shop that doesn't necessary specialize in BMWs?

Thank you all much appreciated.

I personally wouldn't go to a local shop that doesn't specialize in BMW or work on German cars. But then again I don't go indy shops.. Why not take your car to BMW of Seattle? People say Broad Stroke and Strictly BMW are good indy shops though.

I say do it yourself... save yourself a few hundred dollars. DIY videos are plentiful and 95% of disc brakes today all operate the same so it's pretty straight forward.

BMW brakes are by far one of the easiest systems to work on... My E46 used to take me 30 minutes to change just the rear set of pads. My Cobras and SUV's were a PITA compared to my bimmer

I'm also in the same boat. The car hasn't told me to change it yet, but when it was measured last summer, the guys said I had till about December 2012. No real squeaking though. Might just do it myself as some "Team Blop" members suggest. Those guys are ballers.
