Air Suspension Questions...

Anyone here who can recommended a good air suspension?

I've been longing to lower my car ever since I replaced my wheels about a year ago. But my driveway prevents me from doing it. I live in an uphill area, both road & my driveway have a steep transition. With my current OEM suspension (not sport suspension), I always scrape my bumper if I park my car straight so I have do it in a slight angle.

A friend of mine mentioned about air suspension which I'm not very familiar with. So, I guess this is the only solution I go with to lower my car. Can the air suspension give me the same cornering result as OEM? How about ride quality?

I will appreciate it very much if I can get some info's from some owners here who has experience with air suspension in their cars.

AccuAir makes a great kit. Air bags will always give a progressive type rate as they air bags are compressed. It is an ideal setup for height adjustability on the fly, but for handling.

JW, not interesting in a kit, but always wondered do you need to refill the tank when used alot?

From my thinking I'm pretty sure the tank is a compressor that fills itself. Am I right? Never really looked into air suspension

AccuAir use a tank and compression system so when the tank is low the compressor(s) will kick on to fill the tanks.

Correct in my old car I had 2 compressor hooked up to my tank cause I used to play with the switchs alot. Lol. It's nice to have but wouldn't do it to a BMW to much wiring for our fussy cars IMO

Honestly though bags are old static is the only way to go now IMO.
