I would be interested in the steering wheel minus the trim if it can be swapped for my M3 wheel which also has paddle shifters.

Is that a tear or dent in the leather at the bottom?

Should fit...see below for availability. It's not a tear, the leather has been "pushed in" I think it will come back out over time. I just don't drive the car enough.

Why do you want the steering wheel? I thought the m3's is better than the M sport, or am I missing something

haha....I knew it would spark some interest, as there aren't many Msport w/paddles out there. I'm not even sure what number you are, but for sure not top 3....if all goes as planned, it should be gone tonight

It's actually exactly the same wheel...the difference between m3 and msport is the stitching. msport has black, m3 has tri-colour. so it's down to preference.

My M3 steering wheel is thicker and has the tri-color stitching which is really nice.

But I enjoyed the M-Tech Wheel because of the perforated leather, and the further indented grooves for your thumbs.


Regardless, I found one online to buy, so I think I will for for it, or get a custom one done.

It's actually exactly the same wheel...the difference between m3 and msport is the stitching. msport has black, m3 has tri-colour. so it's down to preference.

You mean your wheel did not have perforated leather? Ahh well then that's not what I was looking for. I thought all the M-sport were with perforated leather.

ya it was perforated....there are actually some M3 wheels that are perforated with tri-stich as well. I think euro or other markets came with them.
