Coding Shop? - Angel Eye DRL

I have a base model E90 BMW 328i with Halogen headlights. I've seen E92s and I think a few E90s with just the halo lights on as a DRL without the inner bulb. Is there a local shop that can do this for me? I'm in the Portland/Vancouver area.

Thanks!

You need angel eyes to start with... Halogen headlights don't have angel eyes from what I remember. If you do have the angel eyes though you can just get the deos unit that allows your ae's to run as drl's, you might be able to get them coded to do so as well but I'm not sure. Contact rentonrider and see what he says.

They have the rings on them, and they will light up when I unlock the car, or just have the parking lights set to on. I'm looking to see if I can have it as my DRL so that when I have the lights set to auto, they are on.

If your car has frm2 then you can set ae as drl via coding. Frm2 is equipped on vehicles built after 3/2007. Check your build date on your door panel or run your vin at BMWvin.com

If you don't want to drive all the way up to Renton, you can shoot down to Portland and rentonrider can remote code through me. I've got cold beer & WiFi in the garage.

Looks like my car was built in 3/09 so I'm golden! I may be up in the Renton area soon anyways. I'll have to see and get back to you guys! @rentonrider, I got your PM and I'll shoot you a text soon.

Are you guys going to do a "tuning" group again any time soon? I just purchased my car and would like DRLs and a couple other things programmed.

Thanks!
