Gunmetal/Hypersilver V710 for Monaco Blue e92?

Hey guys,

I am in a bind here on which wheel color I should go. Either the gunmetal or Hypersilver on my E92 Monaco blue. It's currently stock, but I have replaced the kidney grills with black ones. Really want to get these wheels for the upcoming spring/summer just don't know. Any opinions would be great!!

Here is my car as it sits.

Thanks,

Brandon

I have the exact same question as you for my monaco blue.. I was thinking the dolphin grey or black matte from the AG M310s. V710 are twins, IMO id go dark

I also bought the black grills, thanks for the picture i think it looks great !

9 times out of 10 I would say gunmetal, but I think the hypersilver would look better with MB.

Don't buy dark/black/matte wheels. Your car is already dark colored and i think it needs some contrast.

I have hyper silver on my monacoblue.

I had the exact same struggle - Matte Grey Breytons or Hyper Silver. I hosted a poll and Hyper Silver won by a fair margin, although not a landslide so it still comes down to personal taste. I had originally thought Grey would look nice but after much stress went Silver - lining up a set with Tirerack as we speak. The style is nearly identical to the other pic here (which I'm glad is another example of Silver on Monaco looking great! Whew!)- and in scanning the crowd while driving, I'm inclined to agree with Silver when viewed in person.

The problem with the Monaco Blue (although I love the colour) is because of what it's not - not quite dark enough to be black, and not quite coloured enough to NOT be black. On the Montego you could probably get away with dark rims but the Monaco... hmm. Black was a definite "no" for me, but I struggled hard with the Grey until I went Silver.

Good luck.

Great post u took the words right out of my mouth. I am saying the same thing to myself. I wanted to go with a blackened look with the dark grill and then plasti diping my chrome trim, which I think would set the car off nicely with a dark aggressive look. Still deciding I love the m3 reps for wheels as I do the multi spoke vmr. I appreciate the input everyone. Spending 2gs on a new setup takes some thinking for me to get it just right!

Silver is a classic look! One of those finishes that you cannot really go wrong with simply because it works with every color.

For dark cars like MB, I'd go silver.
I have arctic metallic and I went with gunmetal.
Contrast is good.

They are replicas of 313 wheels, they should look pretty good, i plan to have them powder coated gunmetal sometime tho. ya but id say either go with the 710 gunmetal or 701 gunmetal! I was gonna get the 701's, sooo sexy!
