18x10 et38 Square fitment, Front Clearance Question

Hey, I just bought an e92 335i with M Sport Package etc... with the M Package Brakes.

I plan on running an 18x10et38 265/35/18 square set up.

Will this set up clear the strut/brakes? Im not worried about how aggressive it is. If needed I will run front/rear camber.

The car will be on coilovers with camber plates soon.

All Im concerned with is if it will clear the front strut/brake.

Thanks in advanced.

Im leaning that the front wont clear the strut. But any confirmation would be helpful. I understand width's and offsets so if you have a high offset wheel post in.

I am by no way someone who can give advice... But you are definitely going to have to use some spacers on the front to get it to fit... How big a spacer, I am not sure... But if you have the wheels, you can try it out and see what's needed to make it fit.

I dont have the wheels, i am about to order a set. I can run a smaller wheel or lower offsets if needed. But I might as well take as much advantage of the inner clearance as possible.

I can run a 9 et43/38/30/20 or 10 et38/18 But I know I wont be able to fit the 10 up front with a lower offset and meaty tire. So I wanted to see if I could fit the higher offset.

Im sure the rear will clear no problem with a 10 et38

Well, my 18x9.5 et35 are about 2mm from stock shocks. With coilovers i would need atleast 5mm spacer to clear. So you would be looking something like 15mm spacer to front with 18x10 et38.

Project335i had 18x10 at front but with 245/35/18. No idea what exact offsets were.

Any reason you give the lower offset?

If i can clear the strut with my coils and be able to run a 245/40/18 in the front id rather have the higher offet so I have more outer clearance.

Unless that set up wont clear.

+1

18x10 ET38 up front is going to take up a good amount of room on the inside.

This is 17x9.5" ET30

18x10 et38 would mean you would have 14mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT 2mm

So it looks like a spacer would be needed, but you might have issue with rubbing fenders up front, not totally sure on e92

Yeah It looks like 18x10 is not going to work.

I guess 18x9 et30 or 38
