245/45/19 on Sport Suspension? Also - How much of a spacer needed to clear the hub?

Picked up some very special wheels tonight, and I'm wondering if I can make them work without having to dismount the tires. Also, the hub bore is only 65mm on the new wheels, so I have to get a spacer to clear the center hub on the car.

Question #1 - Can you drive on 245/45/19's on a stock E92 sport suspension?

Question #2 - What size spacer do you need to clear the hub on E92's? My guess is only ~5mm, but it'd be nice to know 100%

Normally I'd just figure this stuff out, but living in a condo is having its disadvantages right now .

Thanks to anyone that can help! Can't wait to unveil the new wheels. Pretty much guaranteed no one has ever had them yet

Tyres are way too big. What are the wheel specs? Are they 5x120?

No way 5mm spacer is enough. Bmw hub collar is around 10-12mm long.Even 10mm spacer isn't probably enough, because there is no room to make the spacer collar narrower for the 65mm hub bore. You are probably looking something like 15-20mm.

Yea, these are 5x120. 19x8 with a 40mm offset and 65mm hub bore. If the hub collars are that long, I guess I can still get away with a 10mm spacer though. I'm just really really really trying to avoid boring out the wheels as I don't trust any shop to do it correctly

I doubt that, because the car own hub collar is longer than 10mm, so it overlaps the spacers collars and you cant make the 65mm center bore to the spacer, because not enough material to do it.Hard to explain what i mean.

But your wheels are 19x8 et40 so i would go 15mm spacer to front and 25mm to rear, just because it will look better.Of course with correct tyre size 235/35/19.

That's a super tall tire to fit even on stock suspension...
