Beyern Silver Mesh mag wheel (3 inch lip on rear and 1.5 on front)
Size: Front 18X8.5, Rear 18X9.5
Bolt Patern 5X120
Offset 140
Wheels only: $550, Wheels and Tires: $750

Were mounted on a BMW X3
Currently installed are General Exclaim UHP Ultra High Performance Summer tire
Tire Size 235/50/R18 and 255/45/R18
Tire in very good condition.

There is no way a wheel has 140 offset. Probably hit the "1" but accident so the real offset he is referring to is 40. If the offset is 40, then yes it will fit your e92.

Edit: I saw the ad you are referring to and the offset was updated to 40.

Yup, I contacted him and he did exactly what you said he did. hit "1" by mistake.

Has anyone heard of these wheels? Any experience good or bad? I should do a search first I guess.

The wheels are okay aftermarket wheels. However you will need spacers on both the front and rear because the offset is pretty weak. Those offsets won't look nice on a e92. Factor in an extra $200 for spacers in your purchasing decision because you can easily run 12 mm spacers in the front and rear.

I'm little confused now, factory off set with the sport wheel is 40 front and 35 rear. However I also have read on a sticky in this section that the wheel I have (same as in picture to left) are 8" front and 8.5" rear. Just took a tape to mine in garage and mesured 9 front and 9.5 rear. or are the wheels measured inside the bead? I also found these off a 1 seires.

Size:
Fronts: 19x8.5 ET44
Rears: 19x9.5 ET27
Offset: 5x120

Will they look ok?

The wheels you have are called BMW style 189.
Spec are:
Front: 18x8, et 34,
Rear: 18x8.5, et 37

The wheels from the 1 series you are referring to is decent. For the front you can get 12mm or 15mm spacers for it (because you can easily run 19x8.5, ET 30 on the front). The rear are fine (19x9.5, ET 27 is ideal), so you don't need spacers.

Found another set in Toronto that are currently on a 5 sieres. He is useing spacers (forget how think and on what wheels). He told me they came off a 3 seires. I have asked him for part numbers or acurate off set. But they are the wheel I want and looks like they have first class rubber on them.

What is your experience with off set difference from 5 to 3's?

That rear setup won't work for you because the wheels are 295mm wide and the tires are 10 inch wide. It might work if the offsets on the wheel are very weak (such as 40+, which is not likely, AND if you have your fenders rolled.

Keep in mind that the standard/recommended setup rear wheel/tire setup for non-M E92 coupes is 19x9.5, ET 35 with 265/30/19 tires. With this setup you can add 10mm spacers (anymore and you will rub) on stock sport suspension without fenders rolled. You can have your fenders rolled if you want it more aggressive.

This is the info I need. Thank you so much for your time.

I see alot of square setups. Would the car handle any different with non staggard? I know I could go with different rubber on a square setup too right?

You have RWD right? The majority of people with RWD (probably 85%+) run a staggered setup because wider rear tires are needed to put down the power/torque. If your tuned with JB4, even more reason to run staggered if you are RWD.

Avoid mixing tire brands/types even if you are running a staggered setup. Use the same tires on all 4 wheels.

These are on an E90, I am pretty sure there won't be any fitment problem, but wanted to double check here. they are;
18 x 8.5 ET35
18 x 9.5 ET33

They'd be fine right?
