Budget tyres for e90 330i 2006.

Hey guys

I recently ordered 19"Csl rims for my e90 330i and they will arrive 15march.
And i need tyres to go along with them 265/235 19" i´m currently on a small budget. I cannot afford Pilot sport og Sport Contact.

So i was wondering about any suggestions regarding good tyres for my baby?
And i live in Greece so there isn´t that much rain up ahead.

Best regards
Oliver

Owned by continental...apparently they are meant to be quite good.
Failing that you always have falkens, Vredesteins and the likes of those

I see thanks for the tip.

I´ve heard somethings about NANKANG i´ve had an offer for those for 750euros the set. But also the Continental Sport Contact 3 for 1100euros and Bridgestone Potenza for 1000 euros.

I´m on a budget but i really want some serious tyres under the car.

But i´m always open for other suggestions including some others e90 330i owners if possible.

Help a brotha out.

Best regards
Oliver

For all-seasons I'd check out the Continental DWS. It's a great tire for the money!

You buy an expensive car whose main attribute is that it handles great, then put subpar rubber on it. Doesn't make sense to me. Tires is THE most important part of safety and fun on your car. But you do your way.

Many people go with Ventus V12 as a cheaper (but not cheapo) option.

Wow you really hit me there. That´s a really good point. Why save 200-300 euros for much worse tires ? Well i´m raising my budget then up to 1000-1100 euros wich gives me the options for Continental Contact sport 2 and 3. And Bridgetone Potenza. I think they Pirelli P zeros are alot more expensive. But wich do you think i should take ? I´m not the expert on tyres here.
Also i will be putting 20mm spacers in the rear and 15mm in the front MOMO spacers if that changes anything. Keep them ideas coming guys.

I´ve heard Contact Sport 3 are excellent.

best regards
Oliver

dunlop direzza dz101, i paid around $105 at discount tire. I haven't done any hard cornering but thanks to someone trying to merge into my lane on the interstate i found out they have very good braking capabilities.

Continentals contact 3's consistently come out top on tyre reviews. That what I use. They are great.

Yep owned by conti, had them on a previous car and were pretty good. Did feel a little uneasy when pushing it in the wet wet

My budget is around 850euros to 1050 euros. My 19"CSL will arrive 15th march.

So i have to pick up tyres before they arrive. But thanks for the answers guys.
But i need tyres in these sizes

235/35 Front 19"
265/30 Rear 19"

And plus i´ve already ordered MOMO spacers i was thinking about putting 20mm in the rear and 15mm in the front. Does that sound good ? I´m not a total expert in these categories so any help is much appreciated.

Thanks Bmw Lovers

this is interesting. im also on a budget and heard/read pretty good reviews about Achilles ATR Sports tires even though these tires are pretty low cost. I might give them a shot on 19" wheels as well..!

So far I'm liking my Falken ZE912s, got the set for $500 firm on Buy Wheels Today on eBay. Great performance so far, think my 0-60 is better after losing the RFTs.

I see. I read some positive reviews about the Falken tyres. But the Hankook ventus v12 evo i´ve read extremly good things about them. The problem is i´m here in Greece and these guys do try to cheat on you regarding pricing and that so ever. But i found a company who has Hankook here and i will receive the information on monday, not quite sure what´s the price on them in Euros. Also read a really intresting review you can see here.

http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...mparison-tests

Hankook Ventus V12 were in 2nd place in this review a great review.
So i´ll let you guys know the price on monday/tuesday when i have an offer.
I´m currently on Bridgestone run flats. Looking forward to see the diffrence beetwen the ride without runflats.

Regarding the Falken their supposed to be terrible in snow and rain i´ve read. I´m importing my car from Greece to Iceland in juli this year so i don´t think they'll match my prefrences.

Best regards
Oliver

UPDATE 5 march

I´ve discovered that they don´t have Hankook Ventus V12 in the 265/30 19" information from a Hankook dealer here in Greece. So those are out of the question i guess.

I did however got a offer for Pirelli P Zero's for 1075euros. Wich is a really good price. Do you guys think they'll fit my e90 330i well ? I don´t use it on a track but i´m looking forward to taking it to the track when the wheels and tyres have arrived.

I´ve got 10 days until the 19"Csl rims arrive so i´m in a bit of a rush. Help is very much appreciated.

Oliver
