Which coilovers should I get?
I'm about to get some adjustable coilovers for my '07 E90 335i. What is a good quality set that costs around $1,000?

I know you don't get to see a lot of reviews on this forum for H&R street performance coilovers. I have them on my E90 and I am extremely happy with them. They cost a little more than what you are looking to spend. They are a great upgrade over stock sport suspension. It is stiffer but still comfortable for street. Also, the ride height adjustability is pretty great.

I've read lots of great things about BC BR, KW, ST. The BC sound very interesting, though I cannot lower my car too much below the ZSP ride height or I can't get in and out of driveways and some of the weird roads around here. Subscribing.

So here's what I've gathered so far. KW is the best brand quality-wise, but they're a little pricey. ST and BC are both good brands, and are more in my budget. But how is the quality on these? Is the ride comfortable? Do I need to worry about rust or blown shocks in the future?

I'm leaning towards eibach pro street s for my non sport 330i. The limited reviews indicate excellent ride quality and good performance . The spring rates are lower than kw.
Still fence sitting for now! |
