I was so excited to see you were local but I'm still waiting for a 6MT. Good luck with the sale. It's a super nice car.

The question is WHY is OP "giving it away"???
I just traded my un-modded 335is with 3x the miles for about that much... That is either an insane deal or... |

You'd think with all those OEM Perf parts there would be a 'BMW Performance' decal somewhere...
still, looks very nice. photos of the damage/repair would go a long way in selling it. |

Too good of a deal? Watch out you get what you pay for :)
OP,
What was the exact damage prior to you purchasing the car? Do you have details as well as pictures of the damage to car ? My digging around shows that you tend to find a lot of these so called "minor damaged" cars and fix/rebuild them and do your community public service by letting them go for good deals...why do such public service? Anyhow, first two are legitimate questions and without answer to those (with details pics and damage report) its impossible to gauge the value of a car (which itself is going to have very little resale value once the sucker who gets it has pulled the trigger). My 2 cents...YMMV. |

the vehicle may have been listed as salvage but was meant to be put under "rebuilt-salvage" I've dealt a lot with salvage cars, 3 of the 5 cars I've owned so far have been salvage and I've had ZERO issues with them.
Of course I would want to see previous damage pictures, take it to BMW and maybe get it inspected, the frame could be way off who knows. But like I said, I bought a 09 subaru impreza salvage, frame was perfect, reason for salvage was bent front core support, a cut and re-weld, it was perfect. ^A long story short, just get the car inspected prior purchase, play it safe and it'll go a long ways.
