Professional caliper paint auto shop
I know the opinion debate (bbk vs. painting) has gone on for ages....and that's not my intention by any means. I was curious to know if anyone has had their calipers painted in the area with great results and could provide a recommendation. Or if they haven't had their calipers painted (not willing to admit) "but know a guy who had great results with..."
Thanks in advance. Last edited by mikefromMA; 02-24-2013 at 09:32 PM.. |

They sell DIY kits specifically for this. It's quite easy to do if you take your time.

i know they do.....i've read endless threads. And I'm a DIYer too...I just don't want to chance anything. I've seen some services where they strip the the caliper and completely refinish. If I can find a pic I'll post it, because if this is DIY...I'm at skill level 2.

fantastic, I'll try and give him a ring as well. I've since done some reading and the process I'm looking for focuses on pressurized removal--> some form of baking process similar to techniques used on certain engine applications
