Remove dirt from fabric on pillars?
Hey guys, I did some searching and didn't find anything definitive. I had my windshield replaced due to a factory crack. Got home and noticed the guys had dirty hands and smudged some finger prints on the driver side pillar. Any recommendations on what to use to get them off? I've had bad luck cleaning dirt on fabric like this in other cars so I wanted to see what you all do. Thanks in advance for any info.

Start with a white towel and some warm water. Usually gets rid of it..
Keep folding the towel out for a new clean area.

Diluted Woolite and warm water if the towel doesn't work. Blot, don't rub with the towel.

Stoners Invisible Glass
Can't take credit for it as I read it on these very forums, but it worked perfectly for me. I had what looked like a greasy smudge at the same location. Spray a good amount of Invisible glass on a cloth or clean rag and just blot the stain. Disappeared in no time and with no visible residue.
Good Luck. |
