Saw this at Motorline today. The paint was done in house at their body shop. Have to admit it looks quite stunning in real life.

I also got a quote on the 405M's which was the real purpose of my visit. $7500 with Pirreli pzeros . They looked great though.

Yeah, it is a bit much. You can definitely source them cheaper elsewhere. The pzeros are worth a bit though - $1800 on tirerack, and that's before shipping/taxes. Locally, probably double that.

If I bought custom wheels I'd want to go up a size, so new tyres would be required

Not an option then. Pirelli have very ordinary tyres.

Nah, I don't think so. If you paint it tangerine and stick quads on it, maybe..

That looks tackier than a fake FPV BA Falcon that has been driven through the cheap accessories section of Supercheap auto.

lol... I'll still maintain that it didn't look too bad in person actually. And my tastes are pretty conservative when it comes to cosmetic mods. I prefer my cars to look OEM.

...

Concavity is not the be all and end all. It was cool on the e46 M3. Time moves on, you just haven't realised it yet. You're welcome to your 10.5" cast reps. I'll take 8.5" forged wheels from ///M division.
