1000 miles?

Hi I'm now on 883 miles and not yet gone over 4000 rpm, as you'd imagine I'm eager to unleash the beast, do you think 1000 miles is enough?

I went wide-open throttle out of the dealership. Then, on the highway I did some pulls to redline. Its awesome!

Just depends on how much you care... If you lease, and don't care what broken pile you give to the next guy, by all means, tear it up. I'll just make sure to never buy a pre leased car. If it's yours, you may want to think first. I'm almost at 4000km and I've only taken it up to red on sport a few times, and even then, only after 1500 miles or so to break it in.

Honestly, if you're anywhere but on the autobahn or a racetrack, what do you really mean by 'opening up' etc? You can pass somebody on the on-ramp to the freeway and then go limp at 100km/h...
