My 320d
I have been a member since last year but haven't really posted much. So thought i should share some pictures. I purchased the car last year and it is a big upgrade from my previous car.
The car is an SE however i regretted it as i kept seeing so many m sports about. I couldn't justify the price difference at the time so have slowly upgraded bits on the car. I will include a before and after just to show some pictures. Mods so far: - Front M sport Bumper - Rear M sport Bumper - Rear and Mid box delete with new tips - Carbon wrapped grills, Interior - Wind deflectors - Lci Halogen with upgraded leds - Eibach Pro Kit Sportline - Tinted rear lights I plan on changing the wheels at some point in the future when i can find something i like. Before: After: Exhaust tips: Sorry for the poor quality pics they were taken on my phone. Last edited by amrits90; 01-16-2013 at 11:35 AM.. Reason: Picture links didnt work |

Hi mAte
A good start! Next up alloys I hope? What about an aero front lip for the front bumper? A great base car to play with but one that needs a few mods to really look the part. I should know as I had one albeit in m sport guise which as you mentioned you can rectify if you want the look relatively easily Rgds Dave

cheers and how do you find the ride with the 19's? I think i want 18's that are staggered. What % tints are you going for? I think mine are factory but not completely sure.
The rear lights were easy, I bought this film of eBay; however the colour match isn't perfect, but it makes a big difference. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1609002741...84.m1497.l2649 If you need any help on what to do just ask and i will let you know how i done it. |

you know when you did the mid and rear box delete with the new tips , did you just use the standard exhaust and cut them out and replace with mild steel pipe and weld the tips on ? or is it a new system ?

@skins83 - Hey, I removed the interior trim from the boot lid and unbolted the inner tails. It was then a case of cleaning the lights, Spraying with a mix of fairy and water. Done the same to the tint and used a vinyl wrapping tool to smooth out the bubbles. Then used a hair drying to remove the remaining water and bubbles. Hope this helps.
@Dizzle - Yh you should definately do it, makes a hell of difference @pritch21 - In regard to the exhaust its the standard exhaust, had the back box cut out and mid box cut out then new pipe fitted with tips. I will upload some pictures if you want of the work. Its from a place called john ashley in walsall cost £200 |

Yh il upload some pics when i get home and youl need machinery to put bends in the piping. The exhaust note is quiet when idle but when higher up in the rev range gives a nice exhaust note. Il upload a video as well when i get chance. The car feels more responsive and isnt so hesitant.

Welcome amrits you've done a great job transforming in - like the carbon wrap and definitely think some 19's with 265/30 on would finish the car.
Wheels can make a huge difference. Due to the hard suspension you wont notice the difference between 18 and 19" alloys but 19" look better. These look amazing : http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1283375164 Alufelgen 7s |
