Which color rims? (Sparkling Graphite e90)
So I'm the new owner of a sparkling graphite 330xi and I'm starting to do some visual modifications to it, but I feel like I can't really do too many exterior mods without replacing the rims first.
So I already picked out the rims I want... I know they're cheap, but they look like BMW rims and I can't afford $1k rims. I'm looking into Elbrus I08 rims. They're essentially e46 m3 replica rims. I would be getting 17" since I already spent money on all season RFT for my stock rims. Anyway, I need help deciding on 1) Anthracite Painted or 2) Anthracite Mach w/Ice Coating. I feel like #1 will be better for blacking/smoking things like my grille, window trim, and tails. But #2 looks a lot more OEM. Pics: My car: #1 Anthracite Painted: #2 Anthracite Mach w/Ice Coating: *That was the closest color to my car tirerack had.

#1.
I own number two as winters for my AW e90, but I'd definitely opt for anthracite on your ride. Buy some wheel wax & Keep them clean, though! For some reason, anthracite looks especially bad when dirty (IMO). |

I like #2. I have 269 reps from Sonictuning as my winter setup:
I have OEM M3 219M wheels for my summer setup with blacked out grilles and an lci front bumper/hood conversion:
